I tried this stuff and it's HOT!! Hot in the nostrils, and Burns like a Hemorrhoid!! Wow!!But I did spray it on meat while I was cooking on the grill. Works Good for that!! All the meat was Spicy, and Tender, as well as Juicy. I gave it only 2 stars because I ran out of it while I was Grilling, and needed a bigger bottle! :(

Instant relief

I've had problems with my sinuses for a long time, mostly causing headaches. I recently moved into a new house that had a mildew problem, which exacerbated the problems with my sinuses. I was taking 800mg of Ibuprofen nearly daily and I still felt very uncomfortable due to the pressure. So I heard of Sinus Buster and decided to try it out even if it was $15 because I know that eating spicy foods often provides me with alot of relief. I don't regret it at all; I've gone through 3 bottles so far. It hurts going in, but is well worth it because of the immediate relief it produces from the headaches. I will do three sprays in each nostril, wait a few seconds, then blow my nose. It literally feels like the pressure is melting out of my head, which is wonderful. I would highly recommend this to anyone who suffers from sinus headaches.

not for everyone

I heard about Sinus buster over the radio and bought a bottle at Walgreens. The burning sensation is pretty intense...like spraying mace or pepper spray into your nose. It also made my eyes water and brain hurt. After a couple of minutes my congestion was back...all that pain for nothing.** After a couple days I noticed my backpack was wet and found out the bottle cap got loose and decided to open into my backpack, making everything smell like capsicum peppers.I read a lot of good reviews so I am disappointed it didn't work for me. Like another reviewer, I don't think I have any mucous, just inflammation. If you are in a similar situation with no mucous and only inflammation, I wouldn't get it.

I rarely post a product review. However after using Sinus Buster for over a week I'm a believer. I suffer from allergy congestion and sinus headaches which can quickly turn into a migraine. I take prescription allergy medicine but still seem to fight nasal congestion. This product clears my sinus and knocks down my sinus headaches FAST! I only have to use it once or twice a day. Sure it has a slight burning sensation but it is tolerable for the relief it provides. A few seconds of discomfort for hours of clear headache free breathing is a solid trade off for me. As with any product I'm sure nothing works for everyone. But this product works great for me. Substantially fewer headaches, clear nasal passages. AWESOME.

My husband has allergies that are especially severe in the summer. When he started complaining about his nasal passages and sinus pressure, I picked up Sinus Buster and told him to try it. He has been using it for over a week now and he has quit complaining so much about his sinus. This is beneficial for both him and me. Finally medication free

For over 10 years, the first thing I did after waking up was take a 24 hour Claritin D allergy medicine tablet and use the prescribed nasal sprays to help with my allergies. Then I would continue to blow my nose until the decongestant finally stopped the runny nose.My neighbor at work got tired of hearing my constant nose blowing and suggested that I try the SinuPulse. I was skeptical, but desperate for relief so I bought one and am pleased to say that I have been 100% medication free for the past 6 months. I have been taking four pills per day for sinus pain in and around the eye area. I started using the Sinus Irrigation System and the facial pain is not as severe. I still take the medication, just not as often. Good product!

Disappointing device...

Since there have been so many positive reviews, I have to think that my unit has a defective pump. The water doesn't pulse as described, it just kind of floats out of the nozzle with very little pressure. Changing the setting makes very little difference. I am returning the unit because it doesn't work as described. I will also say that the machine was surprisingly noisy, and as other reviewers have mentioned, it's difficult to set up and messy. The measurement gauge printed on the side of the tank is not even close to accurate.

Wow I was blown away by just how quickly the SinuPulse helped with my allergy problems. I feel as if years of thick mucous have been cleared out and its very easy to set up and use. They've changed this product somehow

I had one of these for eight or nine years and absolutely loved it, but lately it didn't seem to be heating up as well as it used to. I decided that maybe the thera beads inside were worn out, and I needed a new one. The store where I had purchased it no longer carried them, and I couldn't find them anywhere in my city. So when I searched and found it here, I was delighted, and ordered it right away. Wish I had listened to the negative reviews on here and saved my money. Even though it looks identical on the outside, it definitely is not the same. It doesn't heat up nearly as much as the original one, and holds that little bit of heat for only about five minutes, not enough to do much good. It doesn't even have the same smell that the old one did when heated, and the old one required no "downtime" to re-absorb moisture from the air. And I can't tell that it makes a difference anyhow. May as well buy the original Bed Buddy and save yourself some money. It does just as good a job, which isn't saying much.

Excellent Product

I love this product. I have had sinus problems for as long as I can remember. I just recently started using this and it does help relieve the pressure and open up the sinus passages.As far as only being warm for 15 minutes, I found it stayed warm and moist more like 20 minutes. In addition, most doctors that I have spoken with regarding heat application (moist or dry) do not recommend applying the heat for more then 15 or 20 minutes at a time. Heat applications are not meant to be delievered for hours at a time. Many short intervals throughout the day is the most effective use of heat application.

Need to wait 2 HOURS between uses! ...

If you are looking for a constant source of heat that will last more than 15 minutes, this is NOT your product. If you've ever tried the "home remedy" equivalent to this microwave heat pad (uncooked rice in a sock then microwaved) it is about the same. The major (or minor depending on how you look at it) difference between the two is that this product does produce "moist heat" (the rice does not). However one MAJOR drawback of this product (which you won't read anywhere in the descriptions, until you buy it and get it home) is that you need to WAIT 2 HOURS before you can use it again. Since the heat only lasts about 15 minutes, it is a major hassle (for me) to wait 2 hours before microwaving it again! If you can get by with 15 minutes of heat only (then a 2 hr wait), and need the "moist heat" aspect... this product works as advertised. If you are like me and were looking for something to provide heat for more than 15 minutes, then try the rice in sock. At least after the heat wares off, you can pop it back into the microwave and use it again.

A God Send for Sinus Infections!

I normally got about 3 sinus infections a year - being sick 2 weeks at a time with fever. The Grossan Machine and packets of this stuff have meant ZERO sinus infections over the last 18 months. Now I only use them when my sinuses start to close up - and it is great not have any of the side effects that come from other sinus medications and antibiotics.

This product is excellent when added to distilled water for nasal irrigation. It's less harsh than distilled water plus salt though that can be used too. Each packet is pre-measured and that's very convenient.

I use the Breathe-easeXL packets almost every day. It seems to wash any allergens from my nasal cavities and really helps on days when I'm outside, dusting or vacuuming. Even though I wear a mask, I feel better after using this product. I wouldn't be without it.

DYI solution works great, much cheaper

First of all, I give high marks to the Grossan Nasal Irrigation System. When I use it regularly my sinuses are healthy - when I don't I suffer. This is a very low-cost way to combat allergies, colds and sinus issues.Having said that, there is no need to spend $0.50 per packet for the saline mixture. About 1/2 teaspoon of a mixture of 50% salt and 50% baking soda works as well as the pre-packaged product at almost no cost. I mix about 1/2 cup of the salt/baking soda mixture at a time and keep in in a sealed container next to the Grossan.The bottom line is the Grossan is wonderful but you can save money using a DYI saline mixture.

I really love these premeasured saline packets! They don't sting the inside of my nose when I use them in my SinuAir machine.(Like sea salt does) They're really easy & convenient-just mix with water. My nose & sinuses always feel so much better after I use this.

Best pre-mixed saline powder for sinus irrigation

I've tried several pre-mixed saline powders for sinus irrigation, this is by far the best I've tried. I use the saline with a SinuPulse twice a day. For whatever reason, this is the only powder that has prevented sinus infections. When used in the same manner, I have still gotten sinus infections when using other powdered saline mixes. This powder comes also comes loose, in a container, unmeasured. These packets are a little more expensive than the loose powder but are very convenient for travel.

The packets are all pre-measured and secure, so no chance of spillage. This saves a lot of time in getting set to use the machine. It is also good for travel...just place in luggage or some other container and it's good to go. They have worked very well.

I used the SinuAir packets that came with my SinuPulse, and really liked that I needed only one packet per tank and that the product dissolved easily. But I cannot justify purchasing more when it is priced so much higher than other prepackaged alternatives (and let's not even talk about how much cheaper homemade solution is - I admit I like the packets because I'm lazy!). I rinse twice a day, which means I would go through two boxes in a month, and that level of expenditure (especially when I have already spent so much on the machine itself) is simply unreasonable.

It's working great ... so far!

I've suffered from sinus infections chronically for years. The East Coast is not kind to those of us with allergies and I've had hay fever since I was a teenager. Unfortunately, as I have aged the frequency of my sinus infections has increased beyond the standard Spring and Fall seasons.About five years ago, I read about nasal irrigation. So I bought the bottles of saline solution and gave them a try. I experienced real relief. However, those bottles are expensive, so I would stop using them after the condition would clear up. Of course, after a while, the sinus "problems" would return.A few years back, during a sick day, home in bed, I read about using neti pots and the daily practice of sinus washing as a preventative. So I got one of those. They are o.k. but I always have to tilt my head to the side, then the stuff gets into my upper sinuses and, I guess, my ear, because vertigo would ensue.Not an encouragement to using the irrigation on a daily basis; which is bad. In order to prevent the chronic condition of sinusitis it's best to keep your sinus passages clean.Finally, I discovered the Hydro Med sinus irrigation machine. Recommendations stated it did the work of getting the saline solution up where it needs to go without the head tilting I found necessary. It worked great and I used it for about two years.Unfortunately, despite cleaning it after each use, and pouring vinegar through it on a regular basis, it's motor burned out. So I tried going back to just using a neti pot, but the vertigo came back big time.That's when I decided to try the machine again. When I came across the Sanvic machine it looked enough like the old Hydro Med to be it's clone, but it offered a place to hold the irrigation tips (I got the "family" model) with a lid to cover them; I liked that feature, plus it came with a two week supply of the saline premeasured packets.The price on those supplies is good, too; I've shopped around, and the packets works well. I use twice the amount called for (a hyper-tonic solution rather than the standard isotonic ratio) and there's been no burning, no stinging. And my vertigo is starting to go away as the machine does the work and gets the solution up my nose with out my having to tilt my head to the side.Another feature the Sanvic has, besides a cover lid for the tips, is I like my flow on the gentle side so I just leave it at the first setting, but there are three more strengths for those who like a stronger flow. And they do work, I have tried them. And since it's a button that you push, not turn, I think that is a plus.So, if I do only get a year's worth of use from this brand, I'll still be satisfied, because what it has saved me in doctor's office visits and co-pays, and pharmacy prescriptions, never mind, the pain and discomfort of sinus infections, is worth more to me than the $117 I paid for it.Oh. Another benefit is I get my husband to irrigate more frequently now that I have the machine. He didn't like the neti pot so his snoring had gone back to buzz saw strength since the old Hydro Med had died. Since the Sanvic was delivered two weeks ago, my nights are once more quiet. Helps some with allergies and congestion, but doesn't solve all of the symptoms. A nice alternative to taking more medication. Works better after used for a few days with 2 packets. Also be sure to follow the directions and do not use before laying down

I have severe sinus problems and I live in tennessee. This product flushed my sinuses and gave me much needed relief.

If your nostrils are big, forget it...

I'm guessing the reason why I get a mess coming out of my nostril when using the Nasopure instead of a neat stream of water that I see coming from the people using the product in the video demonstrations, is that I'm not getting a tight enough seal. It just seems to me that the product is made for people with nostrils up to a certain size and smaller. And if your nostrils are larger than those particular sizes, then you are out of luck.I had the same problem when trying the Neti Pot. I was tilting my head correctly and I was even trying to push the pot further in my nostril to get a better seal, but I had just had Sinuplasty surgery and doing that was very painful.If I am wrong and this is not the reason why the solution comes drizzling down my nose, mouth, chin and eventually shirt, then I would really appreciate some insight. Because I know that I read in both the Nasopure and Neti Pot instructions that there should be a seal when using their products. And until Nasopure makes a bigger spout, it's going right up my nose.

I bought two sets for myself and my 6-year-old son. I tried it first before giving it to my son. I was a little skeptical at first, but it turned out to be a pleasant experience for me. I did not feel any burning sensation or pain when I used it. My son has been using it everyday for a month now and he has no complains. This is a great product for kids and adults. I would recommend it to everyone.
